The following Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices of  KnowTheZodiac d/b/a “https://knowthezodiac.com/ and KnowTheZodiac APP (“we” or  “us”). Specifically, it outlines the types of information that we gather about you while you are using the https://knowthezodiac.com/ website (the “Site”) and Android/Google Play:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appvengers.ktz&hl=en&gl=US

This Privacy  Policy, including our children’s privacy statement, does not apply to any information you may provide to us or that we may collect offline and/or through other means (for example,  at a live event, via telephone, or through the mail). 

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By visiting and using the Site, you agree that your use of our Site, and any dispute over privacy, is governed by this Privacy Policy. Because the  Web is an evolving medium, we may need to change our Privacy Policy at some point in the future, in which case we’ll post the changes to this Privacy Policy on this website and update the Effective Date of the policy to reflect the date of the changes. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified.

This Site strives to offer its visitors the many advantages of Internet technology and to provide an interactive and personalized experience. We may use Personally Identifiable Information (your name, country, e-mail address, street address, telephone number, birth chart information) subject to the terms of this privacy policy. We will never sell, barter,  or rent your email address to any unauthorized third party. 

  1. How We Collect and Use Information 

We may collect and store personal or other information that you voluntarily supply to us online while using the Site or App (e.g., while on the Site or in responding via email to a feature provided on the Site). This Site only contacts individuals who specifically request that we do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive our free newsletters or have purchased one of our products. This Site collects personally identifying information from our users during online registration and online purchasing. Generally, this information includes name and e-mail address for registration to receive our free newsletters and name,  email address, birth chart information, postal address, country, and credit card information when purchasing our products. All of this information is provided to us by you. 

We also collect and store information that is generated automatically as you navigate online through the Site or App. For example, we may collect information about your computer’s connection to the Internet (“IP Address”), which allows us, among other things, to improve the delivery of our web pages to you and to measure traffic on the Site. We also may use a  standard feature found in browser software called a “cookie” to enhance your experience  with the Site. By  showing  how  and  when  visitors  use  the  Site,  cookies  help  us  deliver  advertisements,  identify how many unique users visit us, and track user trends and patterns. They also pre vent  you  from having  to re-enter  your preferences on certain areas of  the Site where  you  may have entered preference information before. The Site also may use web beacons (sin gle-pixel  graphic  files  also  known  as  “transparent  GIFs”)  to  access  cookies  and  to  count  users who visit the Site or open HTML-formatted email messages. 

We  use  the  information  we  collect  from  you  while  you  are  using  the  Site  in  a  variety  of  ways, including using the information to customize features. 

The Site also includes links to other websites and provides access to products and services  offered by third parties, whose privacy policies we do not control. When you access another  website or purchase third-party products or services through the Site, use of any informa tion you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site you are visiting  or the provider of such products or services. 

We may also make some content, products and services available through our Site through  cooperative  relationships  with  third-party  providers,  where  the  brands  of  our  provider  partner appear on the Site in connection with such content, products and/or services. We  may share with our provider partner any information  you provide, or  that is collected, in  the course of visiting any pages  that are made available in cooperation with our provider  partner.  In some cases,  the provider partner may collect information  from you directly, in  which cases the privacy policy of our provider partner may apply to the provider partner’s  use of your information. We may use your Personal Data to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing com munications we believe may be of interest to you. For example, we may show users who have  purchased one of our courses or signed up for our newsletter specific advertisements.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do  Not Track signal from your browser other than in connection with the Google Analytics service.

Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including  to Canada and the United States, and will be stored on servers located in the United States. 

In order to fulfill delivery of any online products you purchase from our Site your information  will be stored and collected via Stripe.  

Be aware that we may occasionally release information about our visitors when release is appro priate to comply with law or to protect the rights, property or safety of users of the Site or the  public. 

Please also note that as our business grows, we may buy or sell various assets. In the unlikely  event that we sell some or all of our assets, or one or more of our websites is acquired by another  company, information about our users may be among the transferred assets. 

  1. How Do We Store Your Information? 

NEWSLETTERS 

Your information is stored at the list server that delivers this Site’s newsletters. Your  information can only be accessed by those who help manage those lists in order to deliver  e-mail to those who would like to receive this Site’s newsletters. You will also be added to  our newsletter list when you use our birth chart tool via the Site or the App. 

All of the newsletters or emails that are sent to you by this Site include an unsubscribe link  in them. You can remove yourself at any time from our newsletters or mailing list by click ing on the unsubscribe link that can be found in every communication that we send you.  

BIRTH CHART INFO 

 We may collect Birth Chart information (“Chart Info”) that you voluntarily submit to  us. Chart info includes: name, birthdate, time of birth, birth location. This information will  be collected and stored via our WordPress admin database and birth chart calculator data base.  

If you have submitted Personal Data to us, you can request to receive an exported file of the Per sonal Data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request  that we erase any Personal Data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are oblig ed to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. 

ONLINE PURCHASING  

None of the payment information you submit for collection via our Site or App will be stored  with us. As mentioned, your information will be collected via Stripe our third party payment pro cessor. Please contact them directly to request the modification or removal of your information  from their system. 

  1. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 

This  children’s  privacy  statement explains  our  practices with  respect  to  the  online  collection  and  use  of  personal  information  from  children  under  the  age  of  thirteen,  and  provides  important  information  regarding  their  rights  under  federal  law  with  respect  to  such information. 

  • This Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly  collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen as part  of the Site. We screen users who wish to provide personal information in order to prevent  users under the age of thirteen from providing such information. If we become aware that  we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the  age of thirteen as part of the Site, we will delete such information from our records. If we  change our practices in the future, we will obtain prior, verifiable parental consent before  collecting any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen  as part of the Site. 
  • Because we do not collect any personally identifiable information from children under  the age of thirteen as part of the Site, we also do not knowingly distribute such informa tion to third parties.

However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you  withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide cer tain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you  withdraw your consent.  

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other  rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive  or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.  

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and en sure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a se curity measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to re ceive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to  speed up our response.  

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer  than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In  this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

ScorpioMystique LLC is the data controller of your information submitted through our Site or  App.  

If you are situated in the EU and have any complaints regarding our privacy practices as data  controller, you have the right to make a complaint at any time to your local Supervisory Authori ty. PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA AND FAILURE TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA  

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you  and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with our services). In this  case, we will not be able to provide services to you.
