> — DOSSÉ-VIA, SIGNS & SKYMATES
To say the birth chart contains a lot of wisdom, would be an understatement. When we look to our charts for cosmic info, we can consider them highly specific guide maps (rather than instruction manuals!). Your birth chart is as unique to you, as your fingerprint.
From clothing preferences, phobias, and ideal hobbies – it really is incredible how many nuances are revealed within the natal chart; each a mirror of our infinitely multi-layered personalities.
*Today, we’re specifically looking at how your birth chart can indicate your ideal and true **friends**.*
Layers
When looking at a birth chart, we have to consider multiple streams of information. Think: placements by house and sign, as well as how they sit in relation to each other (for example trines, squares and so on… which we’ll cover another time.)
We then combine our observations for a full picture; in this case, revealing what your true friendships may feel like.
So, where to start?
I would suggest beginning with your natal Moon sign. In each of our charts, The Moon (amongst other things) reflects the lens through which we experience our emotions and empathic sensitivities.
La luna also reflects our comfort zones, and personal value systems. Importantly, she reveals our inner relationship to ourselves – and how we can honor our own sensitivities. Naturally, sharing a Moon placement (by sign or house) can reflect a deepened mutual understanding between two beings.
You know those friends that just get you? And that you never have to explain yourself to? You might just share a moon sign.
My second pick for a true friend indicator would be shared (or complimentary) Lunar Nodes.
The natal Lunar Nodes reflect your unique journey of personal evolution. The South Node suggests overdeveloped traits, while the North Node reveals what you came here to learn, in order to grow.
I usually describe the North Node as that tingly “good-nervous” feeling you get, before making a big decision. It’s those new and unfamiliar paths that occasionally light up in our lives, inviting us to grow beyond who we already are. Even though it may take a conscious effort to lean into our North Node path, it still feels (at least subtly) magnetic.
So what does this have to do with true friends? Well, to share a soul evolutionary intention is kind of a big deal. Some of the best friendships I’ve had are those with whom I’ve shared Lunar Nodes. You’ll be able to effortlessly grow, support and expand in a uniquely shared journey together; without even realizing that you are.
Venus
I can’t stress the importance of considering multiple factors for finding your true friends, but if I had to choose one…the most would be Venus. The planet of relationships, Venus also represents our personal values, belief systems and core ethics.
When it comes to finding your true friends, naturally, it’s worth having all of the above complimentary or aligned. Venus is also the ruler of **giving** and **receiving**. This planet’s placement can reflect your love language so to speak – so connecting with those who align here will be a recipe for true friendships.
The good news is, you can find your Venus placement [here](https://knowthezodiac.com/birth-chart/)*, and read on for your cosmic true friend description.
