Throughout Taurus season, three major planets began retrograding through Capricorn including the Planet of Abundance, Jupiter. Typically, Jupiter helps us to keep our eye on the big picture and to embrace our individual expansiveness. This professor planet brings luck to our long-term ambitions and swells our inner consciousness, personal philosophies, and spiritual understandings.

However, when Jupiter went retrograde on May 14th, our large-scale visions became blurred, suddenly calling us to narrow our focus and zoom in on the details of our forthcoming masterpiece. The harmonious trine Jupiter makes to the Sun in Taurus suggests that this period of reflection will be relatively calm compared to other retrogrades and will grant us time to meticulously tend to the seeds of abundance we planted when Jupiter first entered Capricorn in December.

During these four months of retrograde, it is important to slow down to reassess specific areas in your life that need to be refined or strengthened so that you have a strong foundation from which you can take a huge leap of faith. When Jupiter eventually stations direct in Capricorn on September 12, 2020, you’ll be ready for harvest.

Below are your Jupiter Retrograde scopes which offer advice on where to direct your tunnel vision attention and questions that would be helpful to this time of introspection. Make sure to read the horoscope for your sun, moon, Jupiter and rising sign.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

To achieve the desired status of prestige in your industry or community, you need to zoom in on the underpinnings of your affairs. If your team members don’t feel held and supported or you personally are not feeling inspired then spend this time strategizing and working to build morale and emotional stamina.

What in my interior life needs to be nurtured so that I can feel confident about taking the next big step in my career?

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

This year, you have been called to share your voice and wisdom from your time spent training, learning, and exploring with a wider audience. However, in this retrograde it would be useful for you to practice sharing with more intimate, local groups like friends or family.  Come Virgo season you will be well rehearsed and secure in your delivery.

How are you integrating lessons you’ve learned into your life and practicing them with your close friends and family members, so that you may eventually share with larger groups?

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

In order to move into deeper collaboration or partnership with others, you need to assess your personal assets and priorities. Use these four months to get clear on what you can offer to the collective and what you must save for your own sense of security.

What personal habits are necessary for you to hold onto and which ones need to be released as you move into deeper partnership with others?

Cancer: June 21 – July 21

During this retrograde, take some time to water yourself and check-in about what your individual commitments to yourself are before making a big commitment to your partner(s). You don’t want to compromise who you are to satisfy someone else so make sure to get clear on your boundaries and non-negotiables as you prepare to take the next step.

What do I need to feel secure and safe in my interpersonal relationships? What makes me invaluable to my lover(s)/partner(s)?

Leo: July 22 – August 21

As you prepare to make larger commitments in your daily work life, it is important for you to get clear on the spiritual philosophies and personal passions that motivate you to such devotion. To avoid burnout and disillusionment, spend time getting radically honest about value systems and ideologies that no longer feel in alignment with your higher self.

What is “the why” behind my daily work and who do I serve with this work?

Virgo: Aug 22 – Sep 22

As you start to explore your creative passions and plan for a more free and adventurous life, consider your communities and networks as a place of support for you in taking these risks with a feeling of security. Perhaps you are tapped into a community that is offering zoom classes that you can take during the time of the lockdown or maybe there is a group of friends who would like to start a study group with you. If your friends are not supportive of you exploring less conventional fields then it might be time to make new ones.

How can I tap into my larger networks to explore my creative passions and different modes of self-expression?

Libra: Sep 23 – Oct 22

During this retrograde, consider how your career life and commitments may be preventing you from really looking inward and being with your interior life. You deserve to tend to your emotional well-being, your home, and your loved ones. You will feel more balanced when you make time to do so.

What work commitments can I reduce so that I may spend time at home, tending to my emotional self and connecting with my loved ones?

Scorpio: Oct 23 – Nov 22

With Jupiter in Capricorn, you are learning and practicing communication on a more intimate level, and in retrograde this could be illuminated by your proximity to family. You might want to look at the lessons you’ve learned while away and think about having conversations that reveal more about who you’ve become. You will be surprised by how in alignment with your family you are.

How can I share my wisdom and stories from my travels and time away that are digestible and relatable for my family and local community now?

Sagittarius: Nov 22 – Dec 21

Jupiter in Capricorn is bringing luck and growth to your sector of personal financial resources, but you may need to reduce your familial commitments or work collaborations. This might look like using these four months to bring shared projects to an end so that you can really focus your attention on your own goals and aspirations come September.

How can I end my social work collaborations on a good note, so that I can fully commit to my own personal passion projects?

Capricorn: Dec 21 – Jan 19

You are asked to do some rigorous self work and will need to reflect on your relationships and how they may have been distracting you from that work. A pleasant distraction I’m sure, but you won’t want to regret giving more to others than you give yourself.

In what ways can I honor my commitments to self and create boundaries between me and my partner(s) so that I distribute my energy evenly?

Aquarius: Jan 19 – Feb 18

Jupiter in Capricorn calls you to center your spiritual life and to move into deeper and right relationship with your spirit guides. To do so, you need to hone in on your daily practices and rituals. This could look like sitting at your altar every night or journaling your dreams every morning.

Where in my daily routine can I create space for communion with my spirituality and/or spirit selves?

Pisces: Feb 18 – March 20

With this retrograde, you are being called to focus on your social, cultural, and political understandings. What will be most helpful in your considerations is art and raising questions through art. If you are thinking about getting more politically involved, then offering your creative skills to your comrades or local organizers would be a good start.

How can my creative passions help me to connect with people who share my beliefs and values?
