Libra Weekly Scope Jan 8 – Jan 14, 2024

Dear Libra, this week is all about focusing on the foundations of your life and tending to your feels. In your area of home, family and ancestry, the New Moon in Capricorn is happening on Thursday 11th at 6:57 am EST. This Moon comes as a reminder that you can decide to stop serving the family patterns that no longer serve, feed or uplift you. You can choose to approach certain dynamics in different ways. Play around with discovering the shifts that occur when you arrive with a new attitude, one that doesn’t sacrifice your needs in order to keep the peace. Then on the 13th, Mercury moves back into Capricorn, also touching on this area of domestic matters and family ties, bringing more clarity and movement, especially in regards to the things you were reviewing between December 13th and 22nd. It’s a good time to reflect on your inner thoughts and emotions. Also to check in on how communication has been with your family (blood or chosen) lately. Are there any unresolved issues that need attention? How can you foster better communication and exchange? Are there any gestures or acts of kindness that can strengthen your bonds with loved ones?

Libra Weekly Scope Jan 1 – Jan 7, 2024

Happy New Year Libra! We start the year with Mercury finally moving forward, and this is happening in your area of communication and daily activities. If you’ve been feeling stuck, don’t worry, this is all about to change. Things may start to speed up slowly, so give it time. You will begin to find answers for the things you were battling with –specifically between the 23rd and 31st of December. I know that during the last months of 2023 you were really feeling and thinking about the things that no longer have space within your life, recognizing that your space is sacred, and that you have no business letting anyone or anything in. With the Last Quarter Moon happening in your sign on the 3rd, be intentional about what still needs to go, and how your boundaries are still in need of a little strengthening. Mars moves into Capricorn on the 4th in your area of home and family, and while I know you’re there for all the love, I need you to know that your heart needs rest too. This is an ideal time to focus your energy on the structure that your foundation is in need of, and the nourishment that your body is missing.

With our final Full Moon on Friday, and the Sun launching us into the new astrological year on Sunday – this week is one for tying up loose ends, reflection and gratitude. Libra, with your spiritual sector lit up, you’ll be feeling particularly attuned to the cosmos. As a result, it might be a little easier to get out of your head and into your heart. You can use these potent planetary vibes to reconnect to your higher self, intuition, inner child or any other guiding forces in your life. Spending time on things like meditating, breathwork, or journaling will be particularly fruitful for you this week.

Libra, you’ll be in a very expansive mood this week. Now that your planetary ruler Venus has shifted into Aquarius, in addition to Mars, the Planet of Action, you’re feeling innovative and free. You may have been taking life, and love, too seriously when Venus and Mars were in Capricorn, and it may have dampened your mood. But now you’re coming alive again, and everyone’s noticing. Use this week’s energy to clear up misunderstandings with people you may have iced out or left on read during the post-shadow period of Venus Retrograde. If there are people you truly never want to talk to again though, you can peacefully release them and delete their contacts. All this Aquarius energy is helping you put things in perspective and not hold on to what you’ve outgrown. Focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want.
